Thankful

I thought I would NEVER get this homework done, but I did even though I wanted to stop so many times. MAN!! I really almost backed down on this one cause I'm tired of sitting in this chair. I made up my mind last night to start keeping a gratitude journal. I want to buy a nice notebook to keep in the nightstand. Here goes for tonight though.

1. The bills are all paid for the month
2. my car has a full tank of gas (for once lol)
3. my kids are healthy and well rounded
4. having a roof over our heads (God will provide)
5. having peace in my home, heart and sometimes my head (working on that last one)
6. having a merciful God that loves me even though I fail him often

I was only going to do 3 a night but I think that is a great start. I complain from time to time, and sometimes I forget how things work. However I am grateful for the stage of life that I am in where I can learn to love and get to know myself and the Lord better. I WOULD like a companion, but I must not be ready because God has not given him to me yet. God knows my heart. I'm also grateful for that. I am definitely keeping busy which is very important in this "season" of life. If you stay idle you will do things that won't be very beneficial to you in the long run. I am going to embrace me for who I am, learn and grow. Okay, I still have a kitchen to clean. I'm so hard on myself, I should leave all this for tomorrow and go relax. I've done my due diligence for the day...and then some...Be Blessed!!!
